Puerto Mogan

Puerto Mogan is a special place - and only four hours flying time from the UK and Ireland. Charter flights to Gran Canaria are plentiful and there are scheduled flights from Gatwick, Manchester and Dublin. Las Palmas airport is about 50 minutes away by car.

Good weather is virtually guaranteed, with the south of the island getting the best of the weather. English is spoken in the restaurants and shops (though feel free to practice your Spanish!) and there are many expat owned bars where a welcome is assured.

Some local cafés regularly feature live music, but in the marina complex, there are no disco bars or music after 11pm. However, further along the coast, there are plenty of opportunities for a livelier nightlife, and taxis are relatively cheap, so there's no need to miss that "grand night out".
